Synopsis

The development of the service industry is currently experiencing increasing progress so that service companies must pay attention to the quality of services provided. One of the service industries that is needed by the community is the Hospital. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and medical facilities on patient satisfaction. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with a descriptive quantitative approach. The data used were obtained from distributing questionnaires to inpatients at the Otanaha Regional General Hospital. Sampling in the study used the Slovin formula with a sample of 100 respondents. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that 1) service quality had a significant positive effect on patient satisfaction, 2) medical facilities had a significant positive effect on patient satisfaction, and 3) service quality and medical facilities simultaneously had a significant effect on patient satisfaction. Suggestions are expected Otanaha Regional General Hospital Gorontalo City to always maintain the quality of services provided so that comfort, safety, reliability and good facilities so that patients will feel well served.
